Testing...One, Two, Three

...is kind of hard when you have to think of copyright of pictures as well. Making this website has been a stretch of my creative brain muscles in finding and editing photos! But, also probably a good exercise. To be fair, most of the images I used this time around have been from my sister's Facebook/Instagram feed.  She is better at remembering to take those "artsy" shots.

I've never been good at keeping a journal but I DO enjoy looking back at what I've done.  I have a tendency to forget, or not think it was THAT big of a project that I accomplished. So here's to sticking with it in the new year!  Hurrah!

You may be asking, "Why harried HEN? I haven't seen any chickens yet!" Well, the hens come from our mom, who has kept them in their farmyard as long as I can remember.  Hens like to stick in a flock, but are curious on their own and their little unsure squawking at finding something new echoes in my own brain at new situations. 

They don't have brains that hold on to memories very long, but are routine driven! And they like a good snack now and then.

Plus, I like the fact that they still have the look of their ancient cousins, the dinosaurs, somewhere around the eyes.  I find it hilarious.
